{"id":6641,"date":"2017-09-27T22:51:36","date_gmt":"2017-09-27T13:51:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/andassociates.jp\/kakuzai\/"},"modified":"2022-06-01T12:29:54","modified_gmt":"2022-06-01T03:29:54","slug":"kakuzai","status":"publish","type":"portfolio","link":"https:\/\/soell-inc.com\/en\/kakuzai\/","title":{"rendered":"kakuzai"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]A <em>kakuzai <\/em>mobile[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]In Japan, a <em>kakuzai<\/em>, is a squared timber and our artwork made of sueplus materials provided by a factory. \u00a0It was exhibited at an upcycle project in association with sevral manufacturers in Saitama.<\/p>\n<p><em>Tsukiita<\/em>, a natural wood veneer is applied on the surface of affordable materials to create a product that resembles a valuable natural wood product. \u00a0Usually, <em>tsukiita<\/em> is attached to cover up a surface.\u00a0 For <em>kakuzai<\/em>, however, it is simply folded and these blocks in the air remain hollow.<\/p>\n<p>Wood veneer is very thin and light, but since it looks like heavy timber hanging it as mobile creates a kind of suspense in space.
